Lynn Friebel has completed her extensive course work for Animal Assisted Therapy through the Animal Behavioral Institute (ABI). She has received a multidisciplinary certificate in Animal Assisted Therapy and now proudly adds the following letters to her credentials: CAATP (Certified Animal Assisted Therapy Professional). The ABI faculty was instrumental in assisting Lynn in gaining great knowledge for her program with Bradley, our chocolate labrador. In addition, Lynn has been training Bradley in both the clinic and in public to fine tune his skill set and therapeutic nature. Bradley has recently completed his Canine Good Citizen certification.
It has been researched that in many types of therapy, animals promote interaction between the client and the therapist. Animal interaction can be a powerful motivator allowing professionals to more quickly achieve their goals with the client.
Bradley is very excited about both Lynn and he having completed their certifications so that they may meet and work with the clients at Therapy Kinections. Please ask about our Animal Assisted Therapy Program and how we may be able to help you!
